a fool crying out in the dark

You will go just as far as you want to go.

"You will hit what you aim for, whatever target you set you will hit it"

You may disagree with that initially but the more I thought about it the more I felt it was true.

Never have I come across a choice that was game over or not. I've never had a choice that I couldn't make where I had to do the wrong thing. Temptation etc, I've always stopped and thought "ok do I REALLY want to do this?" And then either made the mistake or not... but I digress

"You give 60%, you will live out only 60% of your destiny."

"Why do we live in the world we live in? Why aren't things as they aught to be?"

I would postulate that the problem is the members of the church who go every week, yet maintain where we are. Those who give God most or all the new things that He shows them they need to give up, (for their own good) while holding on to some illicit pleasures.

I would postulate that illicit pleasures are more than just sexual and other big dirty things most people associate with the word. Things like wasting time playing computer games and sleeping and eating (all) in excess. I know people who live on the computer. (Note: this is why older Christians fight anything dungeons and dragons related, because some people allow it to become their lives.) I know others who are always in front of the TV...

We spend our time keeping ourselves busy, merely entertaining ourselves when

"We were meant to live for so much more....."

We choose to remain less than 100% devoted. We pretty much agree with ourselves that a little sin is ok, no one is perfect... so quickly forgetting
what that little sin cost our Savior... and how we too will also pay for it with a loss of destiny. Nothing is free... somehow we think a little sin is.... and then we go off wondering why God isn't using us more or even at all.....

Addendum:

Look around, what do you see?

I see a world full of people each 100% devoted to their own philosophy. We are all fools to think that our 60% or even 99% will measure up to someone else's 100.

It's my humble opinion that someone 100% devoted can be a mother theresa, an osama bin laden, a billy graham, a hugo chavez or a _____ ......put your hero or someone you see as very bad in the blank.....

What is the difference between water at 100 degrees (c) and 99 degrees (c) ?

That last one degree makes a world of difference. I only hope that myself and others will be able to give that last little bit to make a difference in the world.
